The 2019 calendars are now available in isiXhosa, isiZulu, Sesotho, Sepedi and Setswana thus far with Tshivenḓa, Siswati, isiNdebele and Xitsonga coming later this year.
The development of our 2018 ‘Flippie, Flippie and Friends’ calendars in South African languages, as part of our mother tongue learning drive, proved to be most welcomed with a request to continue.
These calendars are easily and freely available on the ‘Flip, Flippie and Friends’ website and have been created in the spirit of the series – fun, colourful and educational. Parents, librarians and educators can print them out and enjoy them, using them to further promote mother tongue learning at home and in the classroom. They have been designed to be printed at any size, up to A2 in full colour and quality. They can also be printed out and enjoyed in black and white without losing any of the learning components. These calendars serve as a valuable resource and we will continue to produce them on an annual basis.
